Prime Minister of Thailand met with U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan to discuss strengthening of Thailand-U.S. alliance and partnership


On October 4, 2017, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha met with Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Paul Ryan to discuss ways and means to further strengthen security alliance and economic partnership between Thailand and the United States.

At the meeting in the Office of the House Speaker, both sides exchanged views about challenges in Asia and the importance of the alliance.

The Thai Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to Speaker Ryan for his friendship toward the people of Thailand and his support for the stronger Thailand-U.S. alliance.
