Announcement on the opening of the Book of Condolences for His Excellency Dr. Thanat Khoman

It is with sorrow and sadness to announce that His Excellency Dr. Thanat Khoman, former Deputy Prime Minister (1980 – 1982) and Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand (1959 – 1971), the last surviving Founding Father who signed the 1967 Bangkok Declaration, passed away at the age of 102.

A Book of Condolences will be open on Wednesday, 9 March through Friday, 11 March 2016 at the Royal Thai Embassy, 1024 Wisconsin Ave. NW., Washington, D.C. 20007, from 1030–1230 hrs. and 1430–1630 hrs.
