Royal Thai Embassy welcomed 3 Thai Teachers for joining 2016 TEA Program

Minister Pattrawan Vechasart represented the Embassy at the Recognition Welcome Luncheon on 14 September 2016 hosted by IREX to welcome 3 Thai teachers, selected to attend the six week professional development program on academic coursework, methodology, leadership training, instructional technology seminars, and a practicum in U.S. schools.

Mr. Hamdi Kodae of Benjamarachutit Pattani School, Ms. Noppawan Schondorfer of Panyawut School in Phatthalung and Ms. Wanassanan Donmuensri of Udonpittayanukoon School in Udon Thani, are among 160 fellows, from 55 countries including Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, participating in this year Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program, a teachers’ fellowship program supported by Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State and run by International Research and Exchange Board (IREX), a non-profit institute specializing in education, civil society, gender, media and governance.
