Ambassador Pisan and Congressman Devin Nunes of California to strengthen Thailand-U.S. alliance and broaden strategic partnership for peace and stability of Asia-Pacific

On January 23, 2017 Ambassador Pisan Manawapat met with Congressman Devin Nunes (Republican – California), Chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the U.S. House of Representatives, to discuss a broad range of partnerships between Thailand and the U.S.

Both agreed on the strategic importance of Thailand-U.S. alliance and the need to further strengthen this alliance which has greatly contributed to peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific. Both also agreed that the long-standing friendship that exists between the two countries and their peoples would serve as a strong foundation for elevating the relationship to a higher level.
