Thank you dinner for former Chief of Protocol Ambassador Peter Selfridge and Parita Shah Selfridge
On April 11, 2017 Ambassador Pisan and Madam Wanchana Manawapat hosted a dinner for former Chief of Protocol Ambassador Peter Selfridge and Parita Shah Selfridge at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador in Washington, D.C.
At a table adorned by exquisite hand-carved fruits and vegetable, Ambassador Pisan expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Ambassador Selfridge for his friendship, professionalism and exceptional work in taking care of the diplomatic corps during his tenure as the Chief of Protocol under President Obama.
Joining the evening of warm friendship were Ambassador Hunaina Sultan Al Mughairy of Oman and her spouse, Ambassador Fuad Mubarak Al-Hinai; Ambassador Kurt Jaeger of Liechtenstein and his spouse, Mrs. Lauritta Jaeger; Acting Deputy Chief of Protocol Gladys Boluda; Todd Koenings, Director of International Conservation Caucus Foundation; J.M. Ascienzo of National Peace Corps Association; Professor Mark Vlasic of Georgetown University; and Erin Blakely of the famous Georgetown’s Pie Sisters Bakery.
Throughout the course of dinner, participants were feted with authentic Thai dishes with a touch of quality American ingredients. The dinner concluded with delicious pie from the Georgetown’s Pie Sisters Bakery thanks to Erin Blakely.
