Call for Applications for college American students wishing to experience Thailand this summer

Thailand’s Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) in collaboration with the  U.S. Generation Study Abroad (GSA) program of the Institute of International Education (IIE) is offering a 30-day summer course from June 21 – July 20, 2019 in Thailand. The course entitled “Thai Community in Globalized Context” is open for undergraduate and graduate American students to experience Thai cultural diversity and sustainable development, including welcome & orientation, lectures and workshops at participating universities and visits to natural and tourist attractions across Thailand.

Apply online now until March 15. Scholarship will be awarded in the form of partial course expense waiver in the amount USD 1,000, from a total course expense of USD 2,800, for some selected applicants who have been admitted to the program based on eligibility, diversity of participating universities and field of study as well as statement of purpose.
