Mahidol University School of Music: A quartet of jazz faculty

You are cordially invited to join us for a quartet of jazz faculty of Mahidol University School of Music on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:00 pm. This quartet of jazz faculty from Thailand’s renowned Mahidol University School of Music comes to the Millennium Stage to close out Jazz Appreciation Month. This performance is presented in collaboration with the Arts and Humanities “Sister Cities” grant program.
Millennium Stage, now in its 22nd season, epitomizes the Kennedy Center’s mission to celebrate artists, not only from the United States, but also from around the world. Millennium Stage performances happen every day at 6:00 p.m. and at no cost to the public. These intimate and accessible performances connect, inspire, and engage diverse audiences with talented classical and contemporary artists.
Mahidol University School of Music This program features jazz faculty representatives from Mahidol University School of Music, Thailand’s most prestigious music conservatory, and one of the most highly respected music schools in Southeast Asia. The faculty ensemble includes Jazz Department Chair Darin Pantoomkomol (piano), Noppadol Tirataradol (bass instructor), Krit Buranavitayawut (sax instructor), and David Parente (drum instructor).
