Royal Thai Embassy and Representative to promote Thailand at FBI National Academy’s International Night

On 15 May 2019, Counsellor Patreya Wattanasin, Counsellor Panupat Chavananikul and Embassy team participated in the International Night at FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia to promote Thai culture, food and tourism. Among those attending the event were 215 law enforcement officers from the United States and 35 participating countries.
The Thai booth was led by Pol. Lt. Col. Korkiat Wuthijumnong, Inspector of Sub-Division 1, Crime Suppression Division at Royal Thai Police, who represents Thailand at the FBI National Academy’s leadership program.
The Royal Thai Police and the FBI have cooperated closely to address many transnational issues, including anti- human trafficking and child sexual exploitation online.
