Royal Thai Embassy and Representative to promote Thailand at FBI National Academy’s International Night
On 21 May 2019, Counsellor Patreya Wattanasin, Counsellor Napamas Panyatrong, and Embassy team participated in the International Night at FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia to promote Thai culture, food and tourism. Among those attending the event were 270 law enforcement officers from the United States and 34 participating countries.
The Thai booth was led by Pol. Capt. Chanunt Chaijinda, Company Commander of special operation unit, Aerial reinforcement division, Border Patrol Police who represents Thailand at the FBI National Academy’s leadership program.
The Royal Thai Police and the FBI have cooperated closely to address many transnational issues, including anti-human trafficking and child sexual exploitation online.
