Visa and Certificate of Entry for Non-Thai nationals who holds a Thailand Elite Card / Thailand Privilege Card
( If you already have a valid visa/re-entry permit, please request the Certificate of Entry – COE at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/ )

For Thailand Privilege Cardholders, please contact Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (Thailand Elite) directly to request authorization. At this stage, without authorization from Thailand, the Royal Thai Embassy can’t issue COE for Elite cardholders. 

1) After the applicant contacted Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (Thailand Elite) and receive an official confirmation letter from Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd, (please see 1.5 below)the applicant may mail the following original documents directly to the Embassy / Consulates-General to request the affix of a visa. (Please note that the Embassy will be authorized to issue Visa and COE only when received approval from the Ministry. )

1.1 Passport

1.2 Two passport-size photographs (2″x 2″) (if the applicant does not have a valid visa to enter Thailand)

1.3 Visa application form (Download) (if the applicant does not have a valid visa to enter Thailand)

1.4 A copy of flight confirmation/ reservation, showing going from the US to Thailand.

1.5 An official confirmation letter from Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., or the Ministry of Tourism and Sports or relevant government agencies. (Please note that the email confirmation does not suffice).

1.6 Medical insurance guaranteeing that the insurance company will cover a minimum of 100,000 USD (or equivalent in other currencies) of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that the applicant contracts COVID-19 (The insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand)

1.7 A confirmation of booking of Alternative State Quarantine (Please check the list of the alternative state quarantine hotels at www.hsscovid.com or www.thaiembdc.org/asq)

1.8 Self-addressed return envelope


2. After receiving a visa, the applicants may request the Certificate of Entry (COE) at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/
***From 14 January 2021, all travelers who have received COEs are required to download and register via the ThailandPlus Application. They are required to show a QR code generated from the registration via the Application to be scanned by the Thai authority upon arrival in Thailand. 3. At the departure airport and upon entry to Thailand, the approved applicant is required to present

3.1  A “Certificate of Entry into the Kingdom of Thailand” issued by The Royal Thai Embassy.

3.2 A Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, using RT-PCR test, issued no more than 72 hours before departure

3.3 A Medical insurance covering all expenditures of medical treatment, including COVID-19, while traveling to Thailand in an amount of at least 100,000 USD (The insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand).


4. Upon entry to Thailand

Travelers arriving in Thailand during the COVID-19 pandemic must present the following documents

4.1 COE

4.2 Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, using RT-PCR test, issued no more than 72 hours before departure

4.3 ThailandPlus Application


5. If granted entry, the traveler must go through quarantine at the Alternative State Quarantine
