Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S. had courtesy calls with ASEAN Ambassadors in D.C.

 

        During the week of 11-15 January 2021, Ambassador Manasvi had courtesy calls through a video conference system with 6 ASEAN Ambassadors to the U.S., namely, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Brunei, Philippines, Malaysia, and Cambodia. They discussed largely on ways and means to cooperate in order to strengthen ASEAN–U.S. relations, recent updates on U.S. political and economic situations, including those with impact to ASEAN countries, as well as cooperation with U.S. agencies in all sectors, especially the ones that rank ASEAN high in their interest.

          Henceforth, Ambassador Manasvi is scheduled to continuously have courtesy calls with other ASEAN Ambassadors, Ambassadors of ASEAN dialogue partners and other countries at their convenience.
