Angels Wings Foundation is proud to announce the continuation of the Thai Scholarship, U.S. and the Launch of The Angels Wings Scholarship, THAILAND
March 10th , 2021 – President & Founder Bui Simon announces the continuation of the Angels Wings Thai Scholarship, U.S and the launch of the Angels Wings Scholarship, Thailand. “Education is the foundation of change and innovation for our future. I saw so many remarkable students the last four years through our scholarship application process in the United States that I believe the best way that I can show my support and endorsement is to continue to expand the Angels Wings Scholarship program,” said Simon.
The initiative behind the Angels Wings Foundation Scholarship, Thailand (Scholarship), is to recognize and honor students residing in Thailand who have demonstrated academic excellence, are committed to continue their higher education and have a focus on helping others. The Scholarship will be available to high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend college in Thailand. “The 2020 school year was like no other for college students around the world. From remote learning to financial uncertainty, the global health crisis put a true strain on the education of our young scholars. What I did see however is the need for financial support for our students worldwide. I’ve dedicated the last 30 years to working with the underserved children in Thailand offering education opportunities through the help of our Thai leaders. Given our success with our U.S. Scholarship program I am proud to now offer students in Thailand the same opportunity, providing the Scholarship directly to the students.” said President Bui Simon.
The AWF Thai Scholarship, U.S. is available to high-achieving seniors with financial need who seek to attend four-year colleges, universities, or city/community colleges and who meet certain requirements needed for application. Students selected as AWF Scholars will receive financial support for their continuing education. Recipients attending city/community colleges will receive $5,000 and those attending 4-year colleges or universities will receive a $10,000 scholarship. The foundation will select recipients based on a combination of their academic promise, financial need, service to others, leadership and essay response. The deadline for the scholarship is on June 31, 2021. For further details about the 2021 AWF Thai Scholarship Program, please visit:
