Termination of Honorary Consular Officers’ authority for visas issuance and legalization of documents
With reference to article 30 of the Regulation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Governing the Appointment and Functions of Honorary Consular Officers of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2563 (2020), Honorary consular officers are prohibited from issuing visas to foreigners to enter the Kingdom of Thailand, as well as from legalizing any documents in the name of honorary consular officers of the Kingdom of Thailand.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Washington D.C. wishes to announce that the following Honorary Consuls-General and Honorary Consuls of the Kingdom of Thailand in the United States will no longer have the authority to issue visas and legalize any documents in the name of honorary consular officers of the Kingdom of Thailand from 28 May 2021 onwards.

- Honorary Consul-General in Atlanta, Georgia
- Honorary Consul-General in Houston, Texas
- Honorary Consul-General in Boston, Massachusetts
- Honorary Consul-General in Honolulu, Hawaii
- Honorary Consul-General in Portland, Oregon
- Honorary Consul in Denver, Colorado
- Honorary Consul in Dallas, Texas
- Honorary Consul in New Orleans, Louisiana
