Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol presided over the Royal Decoration Presentation Ceremony to honor Colonel Larry J. Redmon, former United States Army Attaché to Thailand
On 29 October 2021, His Excellency Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S. presided over the Presentation Ceremony of the Royal Decoration of the Commander (Third Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant of Thailand to Colonel Larry J. Redmon, former United States Army Attaché to Thailand. On this occasion, Mrs. Nuntalux Redmon, his spouse, his daughter, as well as Lieutenant Colonel Jon T. Frye, Joint Staff (J5) Asia, OSSEA Division, Mr. Jason Jones, Thailand desk officer, U.S. Department of Defense, and Mr. Ronald Stafford, Army International Affairs, U.S. Armed Forces, also attended the event.
During his term in Thailand, Colonel Redmon has contributed greatly to the strengthening of the long-standing bonds of friendship and good relations between the U.S. Armed Forces and the Royal Thai Armed Forces. He also managed the exchanges of high-level visits and continuously organized military trainings, education exchanges, as well as information sharing between both countries, which have conduced to the stronger bilateral military ties.
After the ceremony, His Excellency Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol hosted a congratulatory luncheon in honor of Colonel Redmon and his family at the Thai Residence.
