Ambassador Manasvi met with executives from Red Lobster

On March 7, 2022, Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol, together with the Embassy officers, attended a hybrid meeting at Red Lobster’s headquarters office in Orlando during their business trip to Florida. Ambassador virtually met with Kelli Valade, CEO and was also welcomed by Mr. Joel Chick, Executive Vice President Operations and other executives.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on the company’s mission, “Seafood with Standards”, including traceability sustainability and responsibility. Ambassador Manasvi stressed that the Royal Thai Government attaches great importance to the promotion of sustainable fisheries, responsible and sustainable seafood supply chains as well as the compliance with Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA). The delegation also visited the company’s facilities for training of personals as well as product and service development.

Red Lobster is an American seafood chain restaurant with more than 700 locations worldwide. Currently, Thai Union Group is the majority owners of Red Lobster.
