The Royal Thai Government has continued to advance strong efforts on to anti-trafficking efforts. Within the first quarter of 2022, 73 human trafficking cases were initiated, of which 202 victims were identified. In addition, the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) was developed along with an SOP for the initial victim identification of labor trafficking and Section 6/1 offenses.
