Ambassador Manasvi participated in a cooking demonstration at the OneEleven Building in downtown Chicago

On 9 April 2022, Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol, accompanied by Mr. Pisanu Sobhon, Consul-General of Thailand in Chicago and Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Chicago, participated in a cooking demonstration at the OneEleven Building in downtown Chicago. Chefs from the Residence of the Ambassador of Thailand and the Consul-General demonstrated how to make papaya salad, green chicken curry and spicy, minced, salmon spring rolls. Participants also had a chance to sample vegan Pad Thai and coconut sticky rice with steamed custard and enjoy a live performance of traditional Thai music.

The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Consulate-General and the Thai Trade Center in Chicago organized the said activity with the aim to promote Thai cuisine and the use of high standard Thai ingredients, especially among young Americans in Chicago.
