Immerse yourself in Thai culture and treat your taste buds at the Royal Thai Embassy’s Open House on May 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Conveniently located in the heart of Georgetown, your visit to the Royal Thai Embassy will take you through a truly unique cultural experience, from a twist of Thai classical dance, traditional music from traditional Thai musical instruments, to Thai Boxing (Muay Thai), displayed Thai products that are locally available, as well as authentic Thai cuisine cooking demonstration. Participants also had a chance to sample. Drop by to have a good time at the Royal Thai Embassy!!

Presentation the Thai health and Delicious Thai Rice. RD 43 rice and Riceberry rice were showcased and served to all the guests. RD 43 rice contains medium to low glycemic index (GI) value which helps control blood sugar level. Riceberry rice is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and natural fiber. The specialty rice drew a lot of attentions from the attendees for their unique tastes and health benefits. Presented by Office of Agricultural Affairs.

Thai Hom Mali rice is recognized as the country’s premium-grade rice and most precious grain. Hom Mali rice is very popular among international consumers and it is also in great demand overseas. Since Thai exporters have complained about the infringements on the Hom Mali trademark. Thai Hom Mali Rice on winner of 2020 World’s Best Rice Award, which is the 6-time to be awarded (other years:2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2020) by The Rice Trader on World Rice Conference 2020. The excellent quality of Thai rice has been presented to international market, and will accelerate the exportation of Thai rice, benefitting the Thai rice farmers. Thai Art Exhibition from Thai Student in Thailand, organized by Cancer Fighter, Inc. Cancer Fighters Art, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization incorporated in Lafayette, Louisiana to rise funds to benefit cancer treatment and prevention. On display and available for purchase: Art works by Thai youth and traditional Thai handicraft. Proceeds go to charities Cancer Fighters Art, Inc. and Smiles on Wings Foundation, respectively.
