Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol delivered opening remarks at US-PECC Annual Policy Forum: Promoting Inclusive Trade in the Indo-Pacific.

On 19 July, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United States delivered opening remarks at US-PECC Annual Policy Forum: Promoting Inclusive Trade in the Indo-Pacific. He updated the Forum on Thailand’s APEC host-year and underscored the important contribution the Pacific Economic Cooperation (PECC) and the National Center for APEC (NCAPEC) had made to the ideas, substance and dynamism of APEC deliberations, highlighting the PECC Statement on a Refreshed Conversation on FTAAP delivered at the 28th APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting, held in Bangkok on 21 – 22 May 2022. He encouraged the PECC to continue its good work as the deliberations move towards the APEC Economic Leaders Week in November this year, which will be attended by APEC leaders and business leaders, before Thailand hands the APEC host-year baton to the United States as host of APEC 2023.
