Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol attended the Summer Courtyard Reception hosted by the US-ASIA Institute (USAI)


On 20 July 2022, Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol attended the Summer Courtyard Reception hosted by the US-ASIA Institute (USAI). Also present at the event were Mr. Javade Chaudhri, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of USAI, Ms. Mary Sue Bissell, President of USAI, Ambassadors and representatives from various Asian countries, as well as participants from the Congress 101 Program and the USAI 2022 Professional Development Programs; namely the Thai-American National Internship Program (TANIP), Internship Program for Filipino Americans (IMPACT), Mongolian US National Civic Engagement Program (MUNCEP), and the Rule of Law Program – Chinese and American law students.

In his speech, Ambassador Manasvi expressed his appreciation to USAI for their fruitful collaboration on the TANIP program during the past 7 years. Each year, the Embassy recruits very active participants from the US-Thai communities to have exposure with Congress, the Business Council and Think Tanks. Ambassador Manasvi also emphasized the USAI theme of “Building Understanding” and reminded all participants that it is their role to lend their voices and build understanding between their Asian communities and the offices that they intern at.
