Thai Ambassador to the US meets Deputy Undersecretary Thea Lee of Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB)

On 9 January 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat met with Thea Lee, Deputy Undersecretary for International Affairs, Department of Labor, to discuss cooperation on labor rights and ways to work together to eliminate the worst forms of child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking.

DUS Lee also congratulated Thailand for successful hosting of APEC and reiterate the US’ commitment to continue Thailand’s work, as well as extended an invitation to the Thai side to attend the Human Resources Development Working Group meeting under APEC framework in May this year.
