Ambassador Tanee gave opening remarks at the 32nd Asian Culture Festival in Miami, Florida

On 4-5 March 2023, the Thai-American Association of South Florida co-hosted the annual 32nd Asian Culture Festival with the Asian American Heritage Council (AAHC), especially the Thai American Association of South Florida, and local Asian communities, as well as both local public and private U.S. agencies at the Tropical Park Stadium, Miami, Florida. The Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C., also financially supported the organization of the Festival.

During the opening ceremony on 5 March, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat of Thailand gave an opening remark along with the Mayor of Miami-Dade County and representatives from other countries and agencies involved in making the festival happen. Ambassador Tanee commended Asian communities in Florida and congratulated the local Thai community in successfully showcasing Asian cultures in the U.S., especially promotion of Thailand and Thai businesses, products, arts, cultures, including strengthening Thai and Thai-American communities in the area. Ambassador also wished for the success of the festival.

In addition, Ambassador Tanee and Mrs. Cholatip Kambhu Sangrat constructively discussed with Mrs. Daniella Levine Cava, Mayor of Miami Dade County, high-level representatives of hosting agencies and the Thai community, support Thai booths and visit cultural displays from other countries in the stadium. There were more than 10,000 visitors to the festival throughout the weekend, whereas everyone considerably enjoyed the exhibition of unique Asian traditions, cuisines, arts, cultures, tourism, products, religions, languages and folktales in the festival.
