Ambassador Tanee and Spouse Participated in Easter Festival Celebration with Thai Baptist Community at Thai Church, Washington, D.C.
On 9 April 2023, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand, and Mrs. Cholatip Kambhu Sangrat, his spouse, joined the Easter Festival Celebration at the Thai Church, Washington, D.C. as invited by Reverend Supij Eusee and his spouse. Nearly 100 Thai baptist church goers with families also attended.
The church’s reverend led Easter Sunday sermon, taught the meaning of Easter, including how the festival was initiated, and organized egg hunts for the kids.
Ambassador Tanee introduced himself and talked about the Embassy’s mission to strengthen Thai communities across the U.S. through local Thai communities, as well as to promote Thainess and second generation’s role in supporting Thailand and Thailand-U.S. relations. He also invited Thai baptist community to cohost “Sawasdee DC” Thai Festival on 2 July on National Mall in Washington, D.C.
