First day of overseas voting at the Royal Thai Embassy

On 28 April 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington D.C. organized the first day of overseas in person voting at the Embassy.

More than 100 voters traveled from Washington D.C. and nearby areas as well as other states, such as North Carolina, Delaware, and Oregon. Even Thai tourists who registered to cast their votes overseas at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. joined.

The Royal Thai Embassy therefore invites those who have registered for overseas in person votings to exercise their rights to vote at the Embassy, located at 1024 Wisconsin Ave. NW Washington D.C. 20007, from 28 – 30 April 2023 from 9AM to 5 PM.

For this year overseas voting, the Royal Thai Embassy is prepared to facilitate voters for both in person and postal voting. A total of 3,929 people have registered to vote, with 403 opting for in person voting and 3,526 for postal voting. For those who registered for postal voting, please follow the procedures and send your completed ballots back to the Embassy no later than 2 May 2023. The Embassy has already sent 600 returned ballots back to Thailand and will continue to send the incoming ballots back to Thailand until the deadline.
