On 30 April 2023 Ambassador Tanee Sangrat and Mrs. Cholatip Kambhu Sangrat presided over the 2023 International Songkran Festival at Wat Nawamintararachutis Temple in Cambridge-Raynham, Massachusetts. Ambassador Tanee also gave opening remarks together with Senator Marc R. Pacheco, Dean of the Senate, Massachusetts Senate before chairing a meeting with representatives of the Thai community in Boston on promoting the Thai Association and Cultural Council in the area, on increasing engagement of the younger Thai generations with the temple, and collaboration between the temple and Funeral Home.
