Ambassador Tanee meets Deputy Assistant to the President and Asian American and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Senior Liaison at the White House

On 23 June 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat met with Erika L. Moritsugu, Deputy Assistant to the President and Asian American and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) Senior Liaison at the White House to discuss ways to strengthen Thai community in the U.S. at the national level, the establishment of the Thai Restaurant Association and Thai Town, the celebration of 190th Anniversary of Thai – U.S. relations, Thai Festival, trade and investment cooperation, and political development in Thailand.

Ms. Moritsugu has dedicated her life fighting for social justice and empowerment of underserved communities and individuals, and also has a keen interest and comprehensive knowledge about Thailand.
