Ambassador Tanee Sangrat briefs US diplomats and advances cooperation in all aspects

On 28 June 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat was invited by the Foreign Service Institute, U.S. Department of State to give a lecture on “Thai-U.S. Relations: A Bangkok Perspective” for U.S. diplomats who are undergoing trainings before taking up their assignments in Thailand and countries in the region.

Ambassador Tanee gave a briefing on 190 years of Thai-U.S. relations and close collaboration in all dimensions including strategic alliance, economic partnership, and people-to-people ties. He also highlighted Thailand’s political and economic development; as well as Thailand’s role and opportunity for Thai-U.S. collaboration to foster sustainable growth and development in the region.

The Ambassador also took the opportunity to discuss and share views on ways to advance Thai-U.S. collaboration with U.S. diplomats who will be posted in Thailand and countries in the region.
