Ambassador Tanee presides over the merit-making ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the Thai Isaan Association in Washington, D.C.

On 9 July 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat presided over the merit-making ceremony to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Thai Isaan Association in Washington, D.C. Currently, there are approximately 300 members in total.

The Ambassador also congratulated the association and awarded scholarships to children of the members.  He encouraged the younger Thai-American generation to help strengthening Thai communities in the US as well as elevating their presence in the American society.  Ambassador Tanee also emphasized the significance of promoting Thai culture and traditions to the general public, which could further enhance the people to people relationship between the two countries.
