Due to the large number of travelers requesting a COE,

please be informed that the estimated time for the pre-approval process is around 3 days and a COE will be issued within 3 days after you submit all required documents and provide all relevant information.

As a result, please kindly note that the whole process could take up to 7 days.

Please note that travelers entering Thailand through Phuket Sandbox must transit at the international airport only. (For example, fly from the USA to transit via Doha/Singapore/Dubai/Abu Dhabi and then to Phuket)

Phuket Sandbox 

Updated regulations on quarantine period, effective from 1 October 2021

From 1 October 2021, quarantine period for travelers entering Thailand from the United States will be reduced to 7 days (10 days)

Eligible travelers (both non-Thais and Thais)

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO)
  or Ministry of Public Health of Thailand no less than 14 days before departure. Travelers must show proof of vaccination issued by a government authority. Children under the age of 18, traveling with parents, are eligible without proof of vaccination.
• Must come from permitted countries/areas by the Thai Government to enter Phuket Sandbox (The U.S. is included) and travelers must have been in these eligible countries prior to travel for at least 21 consecutive days.
• Must have health insurance which covers treatment and medical expenses in relation to COVID-19, with a minimum coverage of 100,000 USD.

Hotels

• Must stay at a hotel that meets the “SHA+ (Safety and Health Administration Plus)” standard for at least 7 nights, unless travelers have proof of return tickets leaving Phuket (to another country) within 7 days.
• Confirmation of “SHA+” hotel booking must be issued under the SHABA system (SHA Plus Booking Authentication system) or booking under http://entrythailand.go.th/
• After 7 days, travelers may travel to other parts of Thailand. Departure earlier than 7 days is possible only for destinations outside of Thailand.

COVID-19 tests

• Travelers must present RT-PCR negative test result issued no more than 72 hours before departure.
• Upon entry, travelers will have to undergo two COVID-19 tests during their 7-days stay in Phuket (travelers must provide receipt of COVID test appointment to apply for the COE, please contact hotel/hospital directly for this document).
• Travelers may make an appointment for COVID-19 tests through Thailand PSAS system (click here)

Tracking application

• Travelers must install and use a tracking application as prescribed by the Thai Government throughout their 7 days in Phuket, otherwise they may not be allowed to leave Phuket to other parts of Thailand after these 7 days.

มาตรการการกักตัวสำหรับผู้เดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยทุกสัญชาติ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2564 เป็นต้นไป

ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2564 บุคคลทุกสัญชาติที่เดินทางจากสหรัฐฯ เข้าประเทศไทย (รวมถึงการเดินทางเข้าพื้นที่ท่องเที่ยว (sandbox) ปรับลดการกักตัวเหลือไม่น้อยกว่า 7 วัน (10 วัน)

เงื่อนไขการเข้าร่วม Phuket Sandbox
(ทั้งผู้ที่มีสัญชาติไทยและไม่มีสัญชาติไทย)

• ได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนครบถ้วนตามเกณฑ์ที่ผู้ผลิตวัคซีนกำหนด อย่างน้อย 14 วันก่อนเดินทาง โดยจะต้องแสดงเอกสารยืนยันว่าได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนที่ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนตามกฎหมายของประเทศไทย หรือได้รับการรับรองจาก WHO หรือตามที่กระทรวงสาธารณสุขกำหนด ทั้งนี้ อนุญาตให้เด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 18 ปีที่ไม่ได้รับวัคซีนแต่เดินทางพร้อมกับผู้ปกครองเข้า Phuket Sandbox ได้
• จะต้องเดินทางจากประเทศ/พื้นที่ที่ได้รับอนุมัติให้เข้า Phuket Sandbox ตามที่กระทรวงสาธารณสุขกำหนด (ปัจจุบัน สหรัฐฯ เป็นประเทศที่ได้รับอนุมัติ) และผู้เดินทางจะต้องพำนักอยู่ในประเทศเหล่านี้อย่างน้อย 21 วันก่อนเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทย
• ต้องมีประกันสุขภาพที่ครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายในการรักษาพยาบาล รวมทั้งกรณีติดเชื้อโควิด 19 ในวงเงินไม่น้อยกว่า 100,000 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ

เงื่อนไขด้านโรงแรม

• ต้องจองโรงแรมมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยด้านสุขอนามัย SHA+ (Safety and Health Administration Plus) เท่านั้น โดยหากเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยด้วยบัตรโดยสารเที่ยวเดียว / หรือพำนักในประเทศไทย
  ตั้งแต่ 7 วันขึ้นไป / หรือมีบัตรโดยสารที่ไม่ระบุวันกลับ จะต้องแสดงหลักฐานยืนยันการชำระค่าที่พัก SHA+
  ไม่ต่ำกว่า 7 คืน
• กรณีจะพำนักในภูเก็ตน้อยกว่า 7 วัน (มีบัตรโดยสารเที่ยวบินขาออกจากภูเก็ตภายใน 7 วัน) สามารถจองโรงแรม SHA+ ตามจำนวนวันที่อยู่ในภูเก็ต และเมื่อครบกำหนดพำนักแล้วจะต้องเดินทางออกจากประเทศไทย
• ผู้ลงทะเบียนจะต้องแสดงเอกสารยืนยันการจองและชำระเงินโรงแรม SHA+ ที่ได้รับจากระบบ SHABA
  (SHA Plus Booking Authentication system) หรือเป็นการจองผ่าน http://entrythailand.go.th/ เท่านั้น
• ผู้เดินทางต้องพำนักในภูเก็ตไม่น้อยกว่า 7 วัน จึงจะสามารถเดินทางออกจากภูเก็ตไปยังจังหวัดอื่นๆ
• ในกรณีผู้เดินทางเดินทางถึงประเทศไทยแล้ว แต่พบว่ามีคุณสมบัติไม่ครบถ้วนตามเกณฑ์
  ผู้เดินทางจะต้องเข้ารับการกักกันใน ALQ (Alternative Local Quarantine) ไม่ต่ำกว่า 7 วัน
  หรือเดินทางออกจากประเทศไทยทันที

เงื่อนไขด้านการตรวจหาเชื้อโควิด-19

• ต้องแสดงผลการตรวจหาเชื้อโควิด-19 โดยวิธี RT-PCR ระยะเวลาไม่เกิน 72 ชั่วโมงก่อนการเดินทาง
• ผู้เดินทางต้องเข้ารับการตรวจหาเชื้อโควิด-19 จำนวน 2 ครั้งหากพำนักในภูเก็ตไม่น้อยกว่า 7 วัน (ทั้งนี้ ในการขอ COE ผู้เดินทางจะต้องอัพโหลดเอกสารยืนยันการจองตรวจโควิด อาทิ ใบเสร็จการจอง ซึ่งสามารถติดต่อกับโรงแรม/โรงพยาบาลโดยตรง สำหรับเอกสารดังกล่าว)
• ผู้เดินทางสามารถจองนัดหมายเพื่อตรวจโควิดผ่านทางระบบ PSAS ได้ที่ เว็บไซต์นี้ (คลิก)

เงื่อนไขด้านการติดตั้ง app ติดตามตัว

• ผู้เดินทางจะต้องติดตั้งระบบติดตาม หรือ app ตามที่ทางราชการกำหนด โดยห้ามปิดระบบติดตามตัวตลอดระยะเวลาที่อยู่ในภูเก็ต หากฝ่าฝืนอาจจะไม่ได้รับอนุญาตให้เดินทางออกนอกภูเก็ตเมื่อครบ 7 วัน
